    So this MAGA couple is upset that an Immigrant that lives in their neighborhood drives a $100,000 dollar Lexus! The man is a U.S. citizen & is actually a Physician after going through years of schooling! From the looks of these two I doubt if they finished school period! Jealous

    This picture for me is the most culturally forward aspect of #TheLittleMermaid production. The fact that they hired and paid black hair care professionals to properly do Halle's goddess locs as Ariel. May this become a standard onset for black actors.πŸ™πŸΎπŸ§œπŸΎβ€β™€οΈ

    Given the last tweet, I wanted to share this. It's a tinotype photograph ftom 1856, of three unidentfied women from Harvard's collection. Note their style, and think about how black women are too often styled during that era when portrayed on film.

    Folk are rightly excited about all the color up in #CastlevaniaNocturne, but I haven't seen anyone mention Zahn McClarnon voicing the first character we see in the trailer yet. He may just be the first Indigenous vampire I've ever seen in media like this.

    A small tidbit. Anne Rice had to be sold on Tom Cruise as Lestat, as she didn't like an American playing him, but she adored Aaliyah as Akasha, calling her performance "Remarkable." RIP.

    The same ppl disingenuously attacking him for this truth, bullied a young Black actress they'd never heard of, in a play they wouldn't have gone to, to dent her sense of self in what should've been a happy debut. I'm sure she's feeling pressure to be flawless just as he stated.
