- This is absolutely surreal. Mississippi State University, national champions. It’s been a long time coming.
- Foscue went from undrafted HS player and 3 years later he’s 15th overall. Development of players!!! It’s what happens!

- There is no doubt in anyone's mind, that a Jake Mangum statue will be erected, probably in the RF entrance sometime in the future. He is the best CF we have ever had and that is saying a lot with our rich baseball history.
