- This is different from my recent posts, but I have a question for the government. Why on earth are we not doing more to tackle child grooming gangs? It's a major issue in Nottinghamshire, and unfortunately, I witness it a lot. We need to tackle this head-on.
- I understand there will be a protest today in Nottingham. I urge everyone from Ashfield attending to conduct themselves in an orderly manner. Please do not cause public unrest or turn your right to protest into a riot. Thank you.
- I was asked to resign effective immediately. So I did hence this is a resignation.
- Seeing the scenes on the streets of Leeds is extremely concerning. The police can't control this; it's too much. I advise we urgently send the army in to de-escalate the situation and protect people. I've seen young people in videos involved in the rioting; it's concerning.
- I’m disgusted to see the absolute hatred and attacks against my good friend @NicholasLissack! He’s a bloody strong person; people need to give him some damn respect! Death threats towards him are disgraceful—he’s 21 for Christ’s sake! We, the people, need to support him!

- For 5 months, I worked hard for Ashfield, launching a nationwide free school meal campaign. Then, I was unfortunately made to resign; the Labour councillor who notified me of my departure is @shanemochriecox. The @UKYP and @natyouthagency need investigating for corruption.
- I urge the police to act tonight and not cower away if another round of riots happens. We also need to safeguard all children involved in these incidents. Social services should investigate every parent of a child who participated in rioting last night. Stay safe everyone.
- I look forward to working with @LeeAndersonMP_ for a brighter future for the youth in Ashfield. Work will start on Monday! 00:00 - Political views aside, I pray that Donald Trump and everyone at the rally is safe and not injured. In politics, we need to have respect for one another, no matter your beliefs. As a person in politics, I have experienced threats and attacks. Hope everyone's okay.
