    We can confirm that the now viral video showing a fireball in the sky during Middle Tennessee’s violent and catastrophic tornadoes last weekend was indeed NES power equipment at our North Substation. Check out the footage from our security cameras. #NashvilleTornado2023 #Tspotter

    From approximately 50,000 outages just after the tornado struck, we are pleased to report that power has been restored to all customers with the exception of some remaining residences and businesses that require more detailed work due to extensive damage.

    NES crews have restored power to nearly 30k customers today. Crews continue to repair power for 62k customers. This will take time since the damage is so widespread, but we will keep working until all power is restored. #nesoutagealerts

    Our North substation is located in Madison and like Hendersonville, it sustained significant damage. The control building was damaged as well as some of the interior structure. NES crews are assessing damage and making repairs. #NESOutageAlerts #NashvilleTornado2023

    At this hour, we continue to repair major infrastructure. Outages are at 68k+ which is down from 90k just after the storm moved through. If you see a downed power line, avoid the area and call 911 immediately. #NESOutageAlert

    5/5/20 • 6:45am Thank you for your patience as crews continue to work around the clock to restore power. Current outages stand at just over 81,000 after last night's second round of storms. Crews will continue to work around the clock until all power is restored.
