    This is a polite request which, if this behaviour continues will become less polite. Please DO NOT steal hand sanitizer from our hospital or community premises @WalsallHcareNHS . This is needed for clinical purposes and protecting the most vulnerable from infection. Thank you

    All NHS leaders are reflecting on the last couple of weeks. Some real anxiety to manage, some emotion but mostly that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you see the orgn you lead respond without fuss to crisis. One thing for sure we will never do care or mgt work in same way again

    To be very, very clear.We had physical inpatient bed capacity during the summer but this did not apply to human capacity for elective care, once physical distancing and infection control limitations are necessarily applied. assertions to back up this tired trope don't make it so

    Had four customers at my first drop in session at City Hospital this morning. Every Wednesday morning at 8am I will be on a different site. Come and say hello and we can discuss anything you want

    Hugely proud of clinical and ops teams that have decompressed our overcrowded ED and set up our NIV bay on Wd17 this am to decompress over-occupied ITU. Won't descend into hyperbole and call this a crisis but pressures are huge, unprecedented and real. #StayHomeSaveLives

    Richard Beeken has been appointed chief executive of Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. Currently at UHNM, he will join Walsall on 1 March replacing Richard Kirby who is moving to Birmingham Community Healthcare at the end of February after 6 years with Walsall Healthcare.
