Following protest related arrests, organizers will often direct calls to the police station to demand that people are released.
While we respect the decisions of organizers, NLG Chicago is encouraging people to rethink this practice.
NLG volunteers have confirmed the release of 18 people arrested last night. Two people are still in custody at 51st/Wentworth, & 2-3 more will be in bond court today. We continue to work with organizers, @CookCoDefender & @ChiBondFund to track everyone & confirm their release.
