    Today The Foundation committed $20M to #COVID19 response, part of which will be used to develop or enhance data-science tools geared for rapid tracking and predicting the direction of a pandemic. These innovations are necessary for the current crisis and any outbreak to come.

    Yesterday, I had the pleasure of touring @WHO’s Berlin Hub for Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence with @Chikwe_I. We are excited to work with the Hub to advance global access to disease surveillance systems for better, data-driven decisions at the first signs of an outbreak.

    Reflecting on #UNGA74, I'm optimistic for 3 reasons: youth, data & private sector involvement. I'm also encouraged by the adoption of the historic #UHC declaration – we must continue to invest in primary health care to achieve UHC & attain #SDG3.
