Today we remember Ashling Murphy and the 15 women who have been killed on this island since her death. #ViolenceAgainstWomen is an epidemic. NWC will continue to campaign for an end to all its forms in memory of these women, and all who were killed before them 🖤

At midnight tonight, for the first time, reproductive rights and marriage equality will be realised across the island of Ireland. An important day for all the women who will no longer have to travel, and a historic day for Northern Ireland on the road to equality #TheNorthIsNow

On the anniversary of her murder, we remember Ashling Murphy, and all the women murdered in this country The change that we collectively demanded in the aftermath of Ashling’s death must be realised - the #ZeroTolerance Strategy to end DSGBV must be fully funded and implemented

The ‘cartoon’ in todays @TheSundayIndo is not an acceptable way to depict @MaryLouMcDonald or any woman in politics. It is deeply sexist and is exactly the type of behaviour that deters women from going into politics.

George Hook's comments are dangerous, and a perfect encapsulation of rape culture. His comments enable rapists.
