    Expect fair weather for much of Southwest and Southcentral Alaska this weekend. The light winds and warm temps will be great for outdoor activities, but keep an eye out for afternoon rain showers/thunderstorms along foothills and in the interior.
    Weather Outlook: Southern AK Mainland. Much of the Southern Mainland will see fair weather this weekend. An icon shows partly cloudy skies and a rain shower. The background photo shows cloudy skies with a foreground of the mudflats of the Anchorage Coastal Trail. For the weather, expect:
-Light winds.
-Warming up: Highs 55-70 degrees early in the week, then 60-75 degrees later in the week.
-Afternoon/evening showers, mostly along foothills. Slight chance of lighting for Copper River Basin, Mat-Su, and Southwest Alaska along Western Alaska Range, from Wednesday through the weekend.

    A Red Flag Warning is in effect from today, Saturday June 13 at 1 PM - 10 PM this evening for hot, dry, and windy conditions across parts of the Kuskokwim Valley East and Lime Village. Temps as high as 75 degrees, winds up to 15 mph & gusts up to 25 mph, and RH as low as 20 - 25%
    A Red Flag Warning is in effect from today, Saturday June 13 at 1 PM until 10 PM this evening for hot, dry, and windy conditions across parts of the Kuskokwim Valley East and Lime Village.     There is high potential for scattered thunderstorms for inland areas of Southcentral Alaska through the end of the week. There is 60% confidence for isolated to scattered thunderstorms in the Susitna Valley and the Copper River Basin and 40% confidence for the Western Kenai.
