- A few strong to severe thunderstorms with damaging winds are possible this afternoon and evening, mainly for western MA and CT. Elsewhere, there is a risk for non-severe thunderstorms. The best chance for a thunderstorm will be after 3PM.
- Heat Advisory is in effect from noon today through 8 PM Friday for much of southern New England away from the ocean influence. Heat index values near or above 100°F are possible. Stay hydrated, limit strenuous afternoon activity, use A/C, and wear light-colored clothing.
- Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms with damaging winds are possible this afternoon and evening, mainly for western MA and CT. Elsewhere, there is a risk for non-severe thunderstorms with hazards limited to lightning and heavy downpours.
- Some showers and thunderstorms are possible this evening through tonight, though they are not expected to be severe. The chance for an isolated severe storm increases in western MA, CT tomorrow afternoon/evening. Showers and storms remain possible Friday afternoon as well.
