Moderate flood potential continues for much of the area today. The risk lowers to Slight over the interior by Saturday. Stay weather aware and be ready to take action if Flash Flood Warnings are issued. Never drive through flooded roadways!
An infographic from the National Weather Service Mobile/Pensacola titled Moderate Flood Potential Today, dated June 19, 2026, showing two regional maps illustrating flood risks for today and Saturday.
Multiple rounds of showers and storms capable of producing locally heavy rainfall are expected today into early evening and again on Saturday. This occurring on saturated soils will likely result in quick developing flash flooding, especially in lower lying and urban areas subject to poor drainage. For today's map: A large red area designated as "Moderate" risk covering inland regions including Waynesboro, Butler, Camden, Greenville, Grove Hill, Burnt Corn, Andalusia, Leakesville, Tensaw, Brewton, Wiggins, and Mobile. A yellow "Slight" risk area covers the coastal regions including Gulf Shores, Pensacola, Crestview, and Destin. Stay weather aware and be ready to take action if Flash Flood Warnings are issued. Never drive through flooded roadways! Remember, Turn Around, Don't Drown!
