    Yesterday, our monstrous, despicable president assaulted Americans engaged in peaceful protest for a photo op. He could be reelected. I wrote a few mean texts four years ago and have been rained down with insults and attacks ever since. But I'm the fucking coup plotter. Got it.

    There are only 3 possibilities here: It was in the PDB or briefed to him but he didn’t bother to read or listen; the NSC/CIA deliberately kept it from him; or he knew and didn’t care because he wants to have a “good relationship” with a murderous autocrat. Pick your poison.

    It’s interesting that Amy Coney Barrett can be publicly opposed to Roe v. Wade and say that her personal beliefs wouldn’t interfere with her being a judge, but it was impossible for me to do my job while privately expressing my dislike for Trump.

    One of the most eye-opening and bewildering aspects of the Trump era is the unexpected discovery of men and women possessed w/ innate courage (Vindman, Yovanovich, Hill, Taylor, now Berman) and those that aren’t (Kelly, Bolton, Graham, Collins, [insert Republican senator here]).
