    Shocking CCTV footage shows the dangers that our roadworkers face daily. There are nearly 300 incidents a month. On average, motorists driving into roadworks or abuse of roadworkers happen 10 times a day. #RoadSafetyWeek2020

    We've installed defibrillators in 234 traffic officer vehicles across England. Traffic officers patrol the roads 24/7 and they’re often the first to the scene of incidents. The defibrillators will help them perform life-saving first aid until emergency services arrive.

    Put your phone away whilst driving! This driver, seen using his mobile phone while travelling along the #M60, #GreaterManchester, was one of 3,000 dangerous drivers filmed by police officers in our three unmarked HGV 'supercabs' aiming to improve safety on our roads.

    It's getting windy. A lucky escape for this lorry driver on the #A20 heading for Dover, he was helped out by our traffic officers. If you must travel, plan ahead, watch for fallen trees, flying cones or debris, and drive safely. Be careful out there folks #StormCiara

    If you're travelling to @wembleystadium for @BurnleyOfficial vs @SpursOfficial (KO at 3pm) there's long delays on M40 south J9-J8a for roadworks. All other main routes clear. Be aware of of Met Office warning for severe weather and Wembley bag policy: ow.ly/7CkL30mZQjJ.
