Super pumped to announce that we’ve completed Stuff+, Location+, and Pitching+ models for the NECBL, as well as a dashboard to house all! We used a random forest methodology and a 70/30 split for all 3 models. Link: 2y34z6-ben-gillis.shinyapps.io/NECBLPitchingP…

Will Jones finished the season with an NECBL-best 0.76 ERA, more than a full run below the next best qualified SP. On top of the incredible ERA, he also had a FIP of 2.63. Jones finished the year with an impeccable, 34:3 K/BB ratio, also tops in the NECBL.

We have created an xwOBA/xwOBACON model for the NECBL utilizing batted ball data from 2021-2025 seasons (approx 52k batted balls) utilizing an xgboost algorithm! We will have a dashboard up and running soon, but the numbers will be up! @NSNavigators
