More Italian M109L's which recently finished their overhaul being ready to be sent to Ukraine, likely another batch of 20-25 units. This video was taken some days ago at Poggio Rusco (MN) station. The number of sent M109L's from Italy have been well over 100+ units.

🇮🇹🇺🇦(+small thread🧵) Another convoy of Italian VCC-1's and M548's was recently spotted being transported via rail. These like the previous one seen some weeks ago are on their way to Ukraine. Italian aid will likely continue for the foreseeable future.

🇮🇹🇺🇦 After having confirmed a few details, Im happy I can share this photo which shows one the many Italian B1 Centauro’s on it’s way to Ukraine. The source which shared this photo is very trustworthy, they cannot give more details as of now, I’ll update you when I get more info.

🇮🇹🇺🇦 Follow up from yesterday’s post, Italian Army VCC-1’s and M548’s recently were spotted being transported via rail. Note that these have not been in service for decades, some VCC-1’s still retain some add-on armor. These will make their way to Ukraine in the upcoming weeks.

🇮🇹🇺🇦 Managed to get some new info in regards to the B1 Centauro’s Italy has sent to Ukraine. Happy to share with you all that the B1’s Italy sent are fully operational, they are currently protecting the northeastern border near Belarus, 2 companies for now are there.

🇮🇹🇺🇦 As imagined, Italy has provided to Ukraine an unknown amount of Storm Shadow missiles. Like always Italian aid to Ukraine is kept secret. @grantshapps just revealed that they were sent together with France last year and were actively used to strike Crimea.

🇮🇹🇯🇵 A potential M346 export to Japan may happen soon, with Italy expected to receive the P-1 to bolster its maritime patrol in return. Leonardo had already proposed the M346 to Japan awhile back too, so let’s hope for the best.

LEOPARD 2A7+/2A8 FOR THE ITALIAN ARMY! Its all but confirmed now, the Undersecretary of Defense Isabella Rauti has officially declared that the purchase of the Leopard 2 tanks will be included in the forthcoming DPP. Purchase just needs to be approved by the parliament now.

🇮🇹🇮🇩 So after all of the rumours, Jane’s recently confirmed that Indonesia is indeed looking into purchasing the Garibaldi aircraft carrier Italy took out of service last year. The transfer of the remaining Harrier fleet could also be an option if a deal is struck.
