This timeline is brutal. Let’s get one thing straight. Emma Stone did NOT win her 2nd Oscar over Lily Gladstone because of race. That’s not what happened. Emma won because she gave a more show-stopping performance and was THE movie. That’s all. Move on.

I think WB overthinks how to do Superman. The best way to do a Superman movie is simply finding a director, actor and cast that loves the character as much as Matt Reeves loves Batman.

Here’s how you make a Superman movie: MAKE A SUPERMAN MOVIE. The character is great. The comics have a great blue print of the evolution of story telling with time, but there’s no need to do a “take” on Superman - make a Superman film with an engaging story… it’d be successful.
