- Replying to @BitPayThis is lies, my trust in you is broken, I will make you obsolete
- "Segwit is too complicated" became "Lightning is a vaporware" became "Lightning has horrible user experience". The train is leaving the station, don't sit in horse-drawn carriage like them. What a great time to HODL, 2018 will be incredible!
- I under estimated the speed of lightning network adoption.
- The number of people who had any kind of remaining faith that the system was not completely rigged just got severely red pilled. This is good for Bitcoin.
- Pro tip: It is easier to explain why fiat always goes down rather than why bitcoin always goes up.
- I am sorry long time bitcoin podcasters, speakers, OG, devs, teachers but nobody delivered as many truck of red pills than @michael_saylor and he is still a 1 year old baby bitcoiner. He did not even lived through a bear market once.
- I can't speak for everyone, but a big part of why I love working in bitcoin's open source stuff as opposed to shitcoin, is that most dev main goal is not to pump the price of BTC, but to make BTC the best form of money within the existing technical constraints.
- I just published a proper BIP for the payjoin implementation. Many (non breaking) improvements suggested by @lukechilds and @waxwing__ . Thanks to @junderw, ncoelho, @nopara73, @lontivero, yahiheb for having provided lot's of feedback!
- I don't understand why IMF doesn't like Bitcoin. They could print it too if they wanted... with the right hardware.
- Some people seem confused when I tell them I don't know anything about crypto, so I made this handy info graphic. #toxic
- I always wonder why we call the "Global financial system" "Global". It is not global. It is limited only to those who are friends with the US and those who fit inside the box of what payment processors define as "legit". Bitcoin is the "Global financial system".
