- It was with enormous sadness that we learned yesterday of the passing on Christmas eve of our great friend and long standing committee member Jimmy Soutar. A true amateur football man Jimmy will be sorely missed by all. Our sincere condolences are extended to Jimmy's family.

- Yesterday was a landmark day when Oban Times stalwart Davie Buchanan retired after 55 years of loyal service. Thankfully there is no corresponding retirement from his football duties where "Mr Oban Saints" will continue in his role as Club Secretary. Happy retirement Davie. 🍾🥂
