- It was with enormous sadness that we learned yesterday of the passing on Christmas eve of our great friend and long standing committee member Jimmy Soutar. A true amateur football man Jimmy will be sorely missed by all. Our sincere condolences are extended to Jimmy's family.

- Yesterday was a landmark day when Oban Times stalwart Davie Buchanan retired after 55 years of loyal service. Thankfully there is no corresponding retirement from his football duties where "Mr Oban Saints" will continue in his role as Club Secretary. Happy retirement Davie. 🍾🥂

- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our former player & manager Henrik Madej. Henrik was an integral part of our early local success ultimately leading to our joining the Scottish Amateur Football League. Our thoughts are with Henrik's family at this sad time
