My friend got shot at by cops the other day in ATL and police said it was because her headlights weren’t and bc she didn’t stop immediately. She is a lawyer with a BMW, the headlights are on auto, and she pulled over as soon as it was safe 😤 I’m livid!! I’m f-ing pissed.

White women used to be only 3% of the legal profession until after affirmative action. The percentage of white women lawyers quickly rose to 30%!! Meanwhile Black lawyers remained stagnant at 4-5% this entire time!

After I graduated from law school my aunty told me that she always wanted to go to law school but she couldn’t find a pathway. I talked to her about going to law school & doing what she dreamed because it’s never too late. Today she got accepted to law school with a scholarship!!

Y’all pls stop going to HR. Always look into the EEOC first. -signed someone who works in HR

Non-lawyers usually don’t know what a judicial law clerk does, so I’m just going to start telling them I’m a ghost writer for judges 🤷🏽

I’ve been having so many dreams about shootings and ruminating so much about my family and friends being vulnerable to assaults by police. I want us leave this country so bad.

COVID took my law school graduation from me and I’m sad about that. But I’m happy that my school opted to delay for an in-person graduation instead of a virtual graduation. My black American family deserves to see their first law school grad give her Valedictorian speech and
