    NEW: Common Regulatory Capacity for AI report @turinginst has published an independent report that found there is a need for greater coordination between regulators to meet the challenge of regulating the use of AI. Read the report's 7 key findings here: turing.ac.uk/research/publi…
    The study was commissioned by the Office for AI and produced by The Alan Turing Institute’s public policy programme. The Regulators and AI Working Group, convened by the Information Commissioner’s Office, provided essential input and feedback throughout all stages of the research. The report draws on interviews with staff across regulatory bodies of different sizes and sectoral remits.

    2,000 AI scholarships created to level-up opportunities across England

The Government is investing up to £23m to boost AI skills by creating up to 2,000 AI and data science scholarships across England.

More young people from underrepresented groups including women, black people and people with disabilities will be trained up to join the UK's world-leading AI Industry.

The Government is also encouraging companies to play their part in creating a future pipeline of AI talent by match-funding the AI scholarships for the conversion courses.
