00:00 - Many many thanks and congratulations to our physio Merv Bignell who today calls it a day and hangs up his latex gloves and sponge bag for the last time after his long service at the club. Merv has served 50 years with the club as player and physio. Cheers Merv from all at HUFC.
- Yesterday was the last game for Joel Glover as next week he embarks on a 3 mth trip to Brazil with the Christian Church where he will be supporting underprivileged children in various locations in the Country. We wish Joel a safe journey & look forward to his return in December.
- Steve Holder has added to his management team and would like to welcome Macca McConnell to the club. Macca will hopefully be joining Steve in the dugout from Saturdays Vase game at Redbridge. Welcome to the club Macca hope you enjoy your stay holds ⚽️
- Steve Holder will be taking a break for a few weeks. After falling ill after last nights game & not feeling well over the last few weeks he has taken the decision to have some time off. Ben Elliott & Liam Scopes will take charge.We wish him a speedy recovery. 📸 @parnellphoto_
- New Signing ✍️ We welcome Ollie Dunlop to the club. Ollie will give us more attacking options going forward.Ollie, previously with Ipswich Wanderers and Holland FC is a player HUFC has been trying to sign for a few seasons so we’re delighted to announce our 2nd summer signing
- Another new signing ✍️ We would like to welcome Luke Mallett to the club. Luke joins us from Woodbridge Town where last season he made 30 appearances scoring 22 goals. Luke will be a great addition to the team and will bring more fire power going forward.
- Our Reserves manager Andy Lambert and his boys have forfeited their end of season night out used from their ‘fines’ and are kindly donating this money to the NHS who are doing a great job and feel they fully deserve their support. Lovely gesture lads 👍🏻
- We would like to welcome Sam Mills to HUFC. Sam joins us from Long Melford. He can play right back or right centre back. Sam came through the Sudbury academy and had a season with the 1st team. Another local lad to add to the squad. Welcome to the club. Photo. @parnellphoto_
