- 📸📸: Namboole Stadium as of 30th March 2023. Much of the works left is on fittings and the pitch refurbishment.
- Aki Bua Olympic City Stadium in Lira City is taking shape with works currently at 25%.👏
- Deal done! Yesterday, we signed the contract for the construction of Aki bua Olympic Stadium at State House, Nakasero. The contractor-SAMCO is expected to complete works in 20 months.
- Hoima City Stadium has been completed. We now await its commissioning by President @KagutaMuseveni.👏👏👏

- I am pained to announce that Uganda Cranes' AFCON home qualifier game scheduled for June 2023 will be played in Cameroon for failure to have works at Namboole Stadium completed on time. I take full responsibility & apologize to Ugandans for failing to fulfill my own promise.
- Following an independent site assessment conducted on 5th November 2025, the Hoima City Stadium pitch achieved a 5-star rating, scoring a perfect 115 out of 115 points, reflecting outstanding standards across all measured parameters. The evaluation focused on three main
- Uganda's East Africa Pamoja Bid, to host the 2027 AFCON finals, alongside Kenya and Tanzania has been approved by CAF here in Cairo, Egypt. 18 out of 54 countries have hosted AFCON. None of the 3 East African countries has ever hosted it. Our turn has now come! Thank you H.E
