Last week we were able to resolve, for $2.25M, a case that was denied on Day 1 based on "eyewitness" testimony that our cyclist "turned into" a passing Jeep. All it took was 2 yrs of tough litigation, a TRO preserving evidence, multiple forensic & medical experts...

Boston removed concrete barriers protecting CYCLISTS b/c they "led to an increase in auto crashes...Vehicles apparently drifted toward the bike lane and hit the barriers." So they DID THEIR JOB... Damaging Cars is the BEST way to keep them in their lane

Buddy of mine tried a case in a small KY county vs an old time local lawyer. Voir dire, for each juror, went something like this: Now, you remember when I helped your pappy out of that jam? You could set that aside and give this boy from the big city a fair trial, right?

We are very proud of this result - we also developed a model for dealing with the crazy Tech issues that come up in these cases which will help us in MANY future cases as cyclists become more & more data driven utilizing their high tech GPS & other devices to track their rides...

Game Changer 1 - Client had a GPS- our expert took the raw data and created an animation using the Jeep driver's testimony about his speed [exceeding speed limit] and the GPS data... Game Changer 2 -18 r old Jeep driver's phone showed text activity w his gf AT/NEAR time of crash

A Doc, Atty & Engineer are playing golf. Ahead is a group of Blind golfers. The Doc says, Wow that is inspiring-I'm going to dedicate part of my practice to helping the blind. The Atty says "yes, inspiring, I'll do the same" The engineer says "Why can't these guys play at night?"

This witness was NOT LISTED on the police report or anywhere in police records. We saw him on the 1 video for a few seconds & were able to track him down b/c he gave his name verbally to the officer.

Game Changer 3-30 Cruiser/body cam videos reviewed - for a few seconds on 1 video 1 officer spoke w a guy who came the other way, heard the crash as he was going by & saw client flying in the air in his mirror. He heard motorist admit he didn't know what had happened.

It took a LOT of work and a LOT of money - multiple medical experts to lay out the catastrophic injuries & multiple experts to assist with GPS/Phone data extraction & analysis, crash reconstruction and the like. Add in definite risk of loss under Ohio's comparative negligence law
