We had a chance to check out the new ODOC electric vehicle from Canoo, outside our offices in OKC. This vehicle will be headed to Lexington to be used for perimeter security at our facilities there. We are excited to add the Canoo EV to our fleet. #ODOCProud

Our team of narcotic-detecting pooches took on some new recruits yesterday. Two girls and six boys, the first litter to mom Boomer. These Belgian Malinois will soon be helping us detect contraband inside our facilities. Looking good, little guys!

80 inmates got their GEDs last week @ Bill Johnson Correctional Center. As we’ve said before, getting inmates an education is key to helping them avoid returning to prison, so let’s give these men a hand! This pushes BJCC's graduate total to 4,001 since 1996.

11 Eddie Warrior inmates received their drivers license or state ID cards today from the Muskogee County Tag Office thanks to an ODOC project. Many of them, shown here, will be discharging Monday after HB 1269 made State Question 780 retroactive. Congratulations, ladies!
