The Chicago Cubs cannot allow Kris Bryant to play for another baseball team. It just can’t happen.

Ian Happ is one of the most wildly consistent players year-over-year that I’ve ever seen

The Cubs first 4 games of the year having first pitch times of 5:00am 5:00am 9:10pm 8:40pm should be a crime

Kyle won’t have his number retired or get a statue out front of Wrigley, but he’s an all-time favorite of mine and so many others. I’d absolutely love if, once his playing days are over, he could be an ambassador for the team like Ryno, Kerry, Sut, and others have been.
“Being able to put on that uniform as a home player … it’s just the most special thing you’ll ever do.” Kyle Hendricks loved playing at Wrigley as a Cub 💙

As a Cubs prospect nerd, I’ve gotta say… • Cade Horton turning into an ace • PCA 6 WAR player • Nico Hoerner batting champ • Matt Shaw flashing Gold Glove & All-Star • Moises Ballesteros cleanup hitter … is incredibly pleasing to me

I don’t think MLB understands (shocker). Fans don’t want more places to watch baseball games (Apple, Peacock, YouTube, etc), they just want to be able to flip on the game and actually see their team (end blackouts).

To all the people saying the play should have been overturned and ruled an out, have you considered the fact that they had already started playing Go Cubs Go and therefore the game must end with a Cubs W?

Matt Shaw plays Major League Baseball like it’s college baseball. Emotions on his sleeve, hustling like crazy, doing whatever it takes to win. I love it.

Picking up Nick Madrigal and Pete Crow-Armstrong is a very clear shift in focus to a high-contact approach by the Cubs. They will need to go get some thump for the lineup over the next few years, maybe sign someone this offseason. Maybe guys like Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo.

The Cubs drafted… Cade Horton: 4.86 ERA in 53.2 college innings and Jaxon Wiggins: 6.17 ERA in 89 college innings and turned them both into bonafide Top 100 prospects in baseball and potential playoff-caliber starting pitchers

The Giants celebrate Barry Bonds The Reds celebrate Pete Rose The Cardinals celebrate Mark McGwire Why do the Ricketts and the Chicago Cubs refuse to celebrate Sammy Sosa?
