- Day 1 done. Long day. Labs. Needle. Chemo line. Reality this is happening: Maybe a 💧or 2 Saline. Anti-nausea. Steroid. Cisplatin. Now it’s REAL. 😨 Late to 1st RT. Sorry! Mask is TIGHT!! Wow. Not claustrophobic but CLOSE. 🌺 fr Liz & Allie. ❤️ Feel “weird” but OK Food/🛌

- Today was my RT Sim day. Wasn’t too bad. I am thankful I am not claustrophobic and can def “chill” w/my eyes closed while still thinking “Is this really happening to me??” Techs were so kind. And then home to tasty, on-message cookies from my neighbor.

- Aug 15 is a big day for me. In 2023 it was a 7.5 hour double surgery. A year later post-RT/Chemo, I feel good & am still committed to educating others w/ #cancer. My RT patient story is now live on @RTAnswers_org @hncalliance @spohnc_1 rtanswers.org/survivorship/p…
- Here we go again. Another PET. It’s hard to make yourself vulnerable again to what the machine finds. I’m thankful they exist, but it’s a lot. Strength to other #cancer pts Update: Dr. 📞 to say all looks good. 🤲🤲@CancerAdvocacy @spohnc_1@hncalliance
- So I feel like I’ve been quiet post-PET. it’s because it wasn’t quite clean as there was a mass on my pelvis. Docs felt it wasn’t cancer, but it was something.
