Sources: Texas State University is expected to join the PAC 12 conference as its 8th full member and 9th member overall. I’m told an announcement will be made once the PAC 12 has all the other universities they want. The targets that we know:
- Memphis
- Tulane
- UCONN
- UNLV
FACT:
In 2024 the PAC-12 (Oregon State and Washington State) had more viewers on The CW than the ACC on the same network AND the Big 12 on Fox Sports (FS1).
PAC-12 on CW: 500K average views
ACC on CW: 400K average views
Big 12 on FS1: 270K average views
BREAKING NEWS:
The CW will be transitioning to a sports only channel. This comes days after the Pac-12 extended their media partnership with the network thru 2031.
FLASHBACK:
When Cam Ward was asked in a post game press conference about Florida’s environment and playing in “The Swamp” , he replied that he WAS NOT phased by the noise.
He then proceeded to give praise to the PAC-12, where he played at Washington State from 2022-2023.
