- A dear lady once said to me about remembering sermons, "when the laundry's done, you can't see the soap but the clothes are clean." That stuck with me about how preaching has its effects on God's peopleStruggling to recall every detail of yesterday's sermon? Isn't it similar to remembering every nourishing meal you've had? Both feed us in ways we might not always consciously remember, yet they sustain our very life.
