The consciousness of possibility, the mood of exhilaration, that can sometimes be created by dreaming, are our direct metabolic and physiological processes in which we are not only restored, but are reconstructed into something that never quite existed before.

Duke University did a neurofeedback study on this. I spoke with the authors and learned something that didn't go into the paper. It's a little technical but I can explain in a few tweets πŸ™‚πŸ§ πŸŽ

Smithfield (owned by China) Pork Butt is $2 per lb because they feed hogs literal food garbage (you're lucky if they remove plastic wrappers) and the feces and urine are pumped into an open-air cesspool, excess waste sprayed into a fine mist. There's no environmental stewardship.

In the 1930's, Soviet psychologist Alexander Luria conducted IQ tests on peasants. The typical "low IQ" response was really an aversion to reasoning outside of experience.

LSD can open you to delusions. Be careful with "microdoses" being promoted lately. Experiments at Blake College were likely together with niacin, which can block most of LSD's (pro-serotonin) effects. Mentioned in Peat's Biophysical Approach to Consciousness, 1972, & Hoffer, 1956

Ray Peat said insomnia is "usually" cured with nutrition. He never gave ultimatums and never disparaged prayer. This is cultish.

I finally got powdered milk to try Ray Peat's original Ice Cream Recipe. So soft right out of the freezer. Ray Peat was right again.
