    Sumit Sehdev & Lakhvir Singh are their names. They were detained by UK Immigration Enforcement, then people power in Glasgow forced their release. The 2 men & the human rights lawyer @AamerAnwar (left in the pic) have now spoken exclusively to @itvnews. Watch on News at 10.

    A brief observation from a journalist in Nicola Sturgeon’s Scotland: we had our share of robust interviews but it never ended with anything other than a handshake. She never hid from my questions or requests for interviews. We need all politicians to embrace that kind of scrutiny

    Rangers have just written to FM Nicola Sturgeon expressing concerns over comments from her government about the club’s “silence” over crowds assembling. They’ve outlined it was Rangers officials who initiated contact with ScotGov & SPFL back on 22 Feb.

    Bit by bit, some of the serious allegations Alex Salmond levelled that had him labelled a “conspiracy theorist” have, instead, been stood up by evidence. Nicola Sturgeon under enormous pressure now, not just with the No Confidence vote looming, but to defend her reputation.

    Oui, magnifique! 🎵 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Last night’s anthem from the Scotland fans has made an impression. Colleagues who were in the stadium tell me the sports journalists from around Europe took off their headsets for a moment just to listen and marvel. Those fans have been a real highlight
