I rewatched all of Erling Haaland's 52 goals in his first season at Manchester City for a project on goalscorers and goalscoring. These are my observations. 1 - Haaland looks to get his shot away as quickly as possible and in as few touches as possible. This can involve varied

Rebuilding Liverpool on #FM24 Season 1 is over. Of course on #FootballManager Liverpool don't really need rebuilding, the squad is excellent in many ways. However, with Klopp going and all the back room staff clearing out too the moment is right for a new direction. I was

After the success of the Ajax 4-2-1-3 on #FM23 I have been taking the tactic and adapting to some of the game's great players to try and get the best out of them. This adaptation is at Manchester City and for Kevin de Bruyne. As you can see, the system changed to 4-1-2-3.

#FM22 Tactic thread. I started a save with Newcastle to test an idea about a pressing heavy side. The line up is a 4-1-2-3, using inverted wing backs to help fill the midfield spaces. This is a high risk tactic that also has high rewards.
