- Well, Lamar Hunt should be rolling in his grave...and every other American soccer leader who has worked to grow the game & this great tournament. Fans can help stop this w/their wallet. Boycott MLS until they return to the best and oldest tournament in American soccer. RT please.NEW: On Friday afternoon, #MLS announced that it will have its Next Pro developmental teams participate in the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup instead of its first teams. - Replying to @PeterWilt1And @ussoccer, please remove MLS sanctioning as they are in clear violation of one of the first points for sanctioning which clearly states that all “U.S.‐based teams must participate in all representative U.S. Soccer and CONCACAF competitions for which they are eligible.”

- Seth Jahn's comments are bigoted & should not have been allowed to go on. The athlete's council, @ussoccer and his state association should all take measures to remove him. People are entitled to their own opinions not to their own facts. Organizations are entitled to ban bigots.
- The hypocrisy of some American fans of MLS and USL teams who are complaining about the proposed closed nature of the European Super League, but have never complained about the closed system of MLS and USL is soooo.....expected.
