Fun fact: Hasan is talking about my alma mater. He fantasizes that the girls who attended were “millionaire, billionaire faildaughters.” Even if that were true (it’s not), the fact that he turns their hypothetical rape into a utilitarian calculus is despicable. Gross human.

My daughter insists on wearing sparkly shoes and dresses every day so she can be "pretty like a princess," so this morning my exasperated wife pulled up a picture of Kate Middleton in casual clothes to convince her to put on a t shirt.

I'm not even gonna do the "as a political scientist" meme, I think it's just obvious to normal human beings that an open propagandist for terrorists and communist regimes being the most popular political commentator on a particular social media platform is bad.
