This is behind a paywall so I’ve done you all a favour because @caitlinmoran has a brilliant idea that we all, well me anyway, need.

Lady stopped me asking, was I from the telly? Yes! She then went into raptures about how I had been instrumental in getting people making things again and creativity is important, I was thrilled she understood what we try to do, then she said Sewing Bee is her favourite prog 1/2

Rather disappointing evening. We thought we had some chocolate but it turned out to be a scented candle. It’s been taking up fridge space since Christmas too.

Here’s an important message from a toddler to all parents who are attempting to do the impossible of working from home and facilitating their children’s school work at the same time.

Maybe now we’re broke from Covid and Brexit we can quietly cancel HS2 because, we can’t afford it and we’ve learnt how to zoom.

I’m not an educationalist but if kids don’t want to learn as their GCSEs won’t be happening does it not show a flaw in our education system? Is the way we teach at the moment crushing their curiosity and ambition rather than encouraging and feeding it?

    Q. “How can I get my socially awkward child to be more confident and outgoing?” A. Accept them as they are and where they are. We only make someone feel more socially inadequate if we don’t think they are good enough exactly where they are right now. Acceptance breeds confidence.
