Hey guys! I wrote an op-ed that got published by @ChristianPost ! I've never written something like this but it's really cool to see my words be shared and discussed. Give it a read and let me know what you think!
Someday, I will send you a postcard from the place that I'm smiling tonight
@zachlanebryan thank you for this music video, getting me through a shitty deployment. Made it on the other side. Thank you maggie for reminding me that every day is borrowed
Requirements for any seminary that I may attend: if I say "this girl on Twitter" the school needs to be small enough that they know exactly who I'm talking about. Like today when I was visiting Truett and I said "this Twitter girl" and the tour guides were like "oh yeah, Leah"
Being healthy and enjoying all life has to offer is more important than pushing out a new album.
Enjoy life with Jack, Deb, and your fam. You've been and will be a busy man. It's okay to take a breather.
Once this deployment is over, I'll be sitting around a fire in Eastern Washington with the boys singing about Beam and Johnny with @zachlanebryan but until then, I hope they're doing fine back in the States
I think both can be true.
1) The British did a spectacular work at preserving history that would otherwise be lost. Regardless of morality, historians owe them a debt of gratitude.
2) The British are a-holes for keeping artifacts that have a clear rightful owner
It would've been fine if he addressed the fact that many of them do desire to stay in the home. It's a Catholic school, I'm positive that is the case.
But he goes terribly wrong when he prescribes it as the expectation, and goes on and on and on about it. Not everyone wants it.
I'm a rather conservative Christian, but it's bizarre to me that Christian culture says the best way to determine whether you can massive amounts of time alone with someone, is by spending...*checks notes*...no alone time together.
