- Crazy I know, but hear me out: What if, instead of pushing people towards jobs in finance & fossil fuels and away from jobs with 'low earning potential' like nursing, teaching & social work, we *changed* the earning potential & paid people according to how much they help others?

- I know it's very tiresome to mention it, but Covid admissions in England are rising more rapidly than at any point so far this year. A population that hadn't been quite so thoroughly propagandised might now take greater care in social mixing, and perhaps even consider masking?
