I don't particularly like the person that Tommy has become but I hope everyone extends their sympathy towards him in this situation. I think it's more than fair to assume that he had his own bad experiences and was manipulated as well from a very young age.

If they actually get an unbiased jury it would be a miracle because of how he’s being treated by the media, police, fucking mayor, etc. Which could lead to a mistrial. Will the Powers That Be actually allow him to get off? Probably not, but it’s important to see why he SHOULD.
