We're deeply saddened that Dr Prateek Joshi, consultant radiologist at Royal Derby Hospital, and his family were on board the Air India flight which tragically crashed yesterday. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues, and all those impacted by this tragedy.

Trainees are our future. We must prioritise training opportunities for specialist trainees and ensure trainers have time to supervise them. The training of other healthcare workers cannot compromise the training of current/future doctors. Full statement: rcr.ac.uk/news-policy/la…

We're deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr Asif Saifuddin, a world-renowned musculoskeletal radiologist and RCR Fellow. His knowledge, mentoring and support helped so many trainees and colleagues. Our sincere condolences are with his family, friends and colleagues.
