The meeting is held after a field visit at Kitabi tea factory, where members visited tea plantation farmland with and without agroforestry trees to witness firsthand one of the activity that will be carried out by the project in planting agroforestry trees in tea plantation
The meeting has concluded. Steering Committee members of Nyungwe-Ruhango Corridor Restoration Project approved the annual work plan, procurement plan & budget execution reports. Landscape restoration lies at the core of the project, helping to improve communities' livelihoods.

Day 3 of the #JuneClimateMeetings: Rwanda delegation convened a coordination meeting to take stock of the progress made in the ongoing negotiations. The first three days featured a series of workshops and dialogues on Article 6, climate finance, adaptation, and gender.
