00:00 - We're devastated to share the news of the loss of George Wythe HS Principal Riddick Parker, who passed away unexpectedly this morning while bicycling. Principal Parker was a beloved member of the RPS family who gave his full heart and soul to his students, staff, and families.

- 📣RPS Friends and Families: On Monday, March 16, we will begin distributing meals to families at designated distribution centers. The hours are 9:30-12:30, Mon-Fri. RPS families can go to ANY of the centers, regardless of their home school. (1/2)
- All RPS schools & offices will be closed tomorrow, June 7. All high school graduations have also been canceled. Further updates regarding rescheduling will be shared soon.

- 📣 RPS schools will be closed Monday, November 1, and Wednesday, November 3. We are already closed on Tuesday, November 2, for Election Day; and Thursday, November 4, for Diwali. In addition, there's no school on Friday, November 5, due to Parent/Teacher Conferences.
- Happening now: RPS volunteers and staff are packing 20,000 bags filled with nutritious, child-friendly food which will be sent home with students tomorrow. #WeAreRPS
