    Exactly a month today, I began my journey as Ambassador of @EuropeInGhana! After presenting Open Letters to @S_OkudzetoAblak & formally handing my Letters of Credence to H.E @JDMahama, its been a whirlwind of meaningful engagements. Excited to work with Ghana for the next 4 years

    An electrifying and fist-pumping night together with my daughter as we joined thousands of supporters to cheer on the @GhanaBlackstars who qualified for the 2026 #FIFAWorldCup! ⚽️ 'Kudus' to the team and all Ghanaians celebrating this incredible moment! 🎉

    Did You Know? EU is Malawi's #1 trading partner outside of Africa! Not only has our trade increased by 34% since 2020, but two thirds of total MW-EU trade is made up of exports to the EU where MW enjoys NO TARIFFS; & we're keeping it that way, because reliable partners matter!

    To celebrate #IWD2022    last evening, we brought together EU ambassadors and Malawian women from various fields. It was a night of exchanges on the role and place of women in society, facing some hard truths, finding solutions together, and bonding to build a better future!

    Glad to finally meet members of our new Youth Sounding Board. I am delighted that we will launch YSB in MW. It will offer an opportunity for the EU to take into account their views on how to engage with the youth in Malawi, & for them to connect with other YSBs across the world.

    Today marks a new step in the cooperation relations between EU & #Malawi. This morning, we have launched the EU Multi-Annual Indicative Programme for Malawi for 2021-2027, in which EU sets out its joint priority areas for cooperation with Malawi & allocates 352m Euro for 2021-24.

    Although Minister Kaliati turned down my offer for a ride, I enjoyed today's hand over of motor bikes to Malawi Police Services in the context of @GlobalSpotlight to ease officers' mobility challenges as they handle #GBV related crimes @UNFPAMalawi @MoGCDSW_Malawi @malawi_police
