- did a 30 day yoga challenge, started "reading" before "bed" instead of "tiktok," had kombucha this morning instead of coffee and you know what, i still feel like i'm going to have a panic attack
- we went to grab coffee and saw, in our little tiny southern town, two trans teenagers wearing trans flags as capes and holding a sign that said "i will not hide"
- editors: if you can, extend deadlines, specifically for Black writers. let them have time. don’t give them a few hours to push through a heavy, traumatizing story. don’t guilt them for needing a second. let them know they come first, not the work.
- one thing i find really weird about twitter is that people think if you're not tweeting about something, you don't care about it. like... you guys know people can talk to like, their friends, about issues and events and politics without telling you... right?
- in my professional opinion the best thing we can do for ourselves is give each other all of december off, no emails no texting no expectations, please let me rot in peace
