Ben Stokes has just described it as the "MEN'S Ashes". That feels like a pretty seminal moment to me.

Goswami's final match and you want to end it by being booed by the crowd? Nice.

If one more person tells me on here that Charlie Dean & England deserved that ending because of something that happened in the 2019 MEN’S World Cup final, I may explode.

Absolutely adore Danni Wyatt. Me in the press conference: "What did Heather and Lisa Keightley say to you during the rain break?" Wyatt: "I don't know, I was watching the IPL" 🤣🤣🤣

ICC: very happy for the Afghanistan men's team to do all their training in another country, but when the women's team ask to do the same BECAUSE THEY LITERALLY AREN'T ALLOWED TO TRAIN / PLAY / EXIST AT HOME, ICC reps won't even meet them to discuss it.

🆕 Jonathan Trott has a unique job: for nearly two years, he has been head coach of a country he has never set foot in 🇦🇫 His Afghanistan side are genuine contenders at the T20 World Cup. Enjoyed chatting with him in Trinidad to learn more about them espncricinfo.com/story/t20-worl…

This is really awful and I am amazed the ECB allowed it. Reads like something from the 1990s. If we are still having to present women cricketers as “glam” and heterosexual in order to get media coverage, then something is VERY wrong.

I’m told that the crowd for yesterday’s final at Edgbaston was 17,000. Capacity was limited to 20,000 during the Games. So not quite a full house, but still the highest ever crowd for a neutral women’s cricket international in England. Well done Birmingham, you did us proud! 🥳

I'm sure Deepti Sharma's parents will be delighted with her Test half-century, but how on earth is her mum going to get that shirt clean? #INDvAUS

More people attended the women's matches in #TheHundred (267,000) than attended the T20 World Cup in Australia in 2020 (136,000). That makes it the best attended women's cricket event, anywhere in the world, EVER. Astonishing.

Brilliant - Charlie Dean pulls out of her delivery stride first ball, and goes as if to run out Linsey Smith at the non strikers end. Ripple of laughter and applause goes up around Lord’s 😂😂

This is so powerful. I actually don't know how the ICC sleep at night, knowing they have done absolutely zero to support these incredible, resilient women.
