The crimes that #MetPolice officer David Carrick has admitted to committing are utterly abhorrent When a man who has been charged with 49 offences, including 24 charges of rape, is a serving police officer, how can women and girls possibly be – or feel – safe.

The misogyny and casual sexism witnessed on this series of #LoveIsland is extremely concerning. The double standards, gaslighting and coercive control being displayed by the men in the villa is hugely problematic.

Our message to survivors of domestic abuse tonight is clear: if you need support, Refuge is here for you, round the clock. We will believe you and we will support you. You are not alone.

We're outside New Scotland Yard this morning asking, how many more #BadApples? These 1071 rotten apples represent the number of #MetPolice officers who have been, or are currently, under investigation for allegations of domestic abuse or #VAWG.

#DomesticAbuse isn’t caused by matches being lost or won, it’s caused by perpetrators choosing to abuse. We do know tournaments can aggravate pre-existing abusive behaviours. Please help us answer every call from a woman who needs us. Donate now bit.ly/2TJnijE #Euros2020

Share our Helpline details tonight. #Football tournaments don’t cause abuse; abuse is always a choice an abuser makes - but they can aggravate pre-existing abusive behaviours. So please, share and let survivors know they are not alone: bit.ly/33OYW73 #ENG #Euros2020

There is nothing funny about spiking women’s drinks. This is not ‘mere banter’. Violence against women & girls is a social issue and language is important, especially from those in charge of making legislation to protect women from these atrocious crimes.

We know the England team losing the #EURO2024 is the worst outcome for some, for others however it's the reality of waiting for their partner to come home. Football doesn't cause #DomesticAbuse, abusers do. Share our helpline so women know they are not alone 👇🏼👇🏿
