The first Coretime sale is starting today on @Polkadot Agile Coretime was introduced as an RFC just over a year ago, and today it will officially become part of Polkadot. Once the sale starts today, you will be able to interact with the new system using the RegionX Coretime Hub

It is great to see these sales happening. However, many people still believe it is bad that Coretime is sold so 'cheaply.' This is not a negative thing at all; it actually demonstrates Polkadot's scalability! @Polkadot is currently the platform that offers the most affordable

We are teaming up with @PolytopeLabs. RegionX will use ISMP, developed by @PolytopeLabs, to read region-related data directly from the Coretime chain. This is key towards the creation of a flexible and decentralized secondary Coretime marketplace.

The proposal to develop a Coretime marketplace is now open for voting. We believe this will benefit the ecosystem by allowing new teams to deploy at lower costs and reducing the operational costs of existing parachains on @Polkadot

Due to all cores purchased in the previous Kusama bulk sale, the price of cores has risen significantly. It now started at 115.45 KSM compared to the previous 25 KSM price! Due to this price increase, no one has yet purchased Coretime in the leadin period. We will soon see a new
