We have learned the unthinkable that nine of our colleagues were mercilessly killed including doctors, referral drivers and a team leader. This is a profound tragedy for our organization.

Right now, there are more than confirmed 47,593 cases of #COVID19 in #Iran. We just delivered 40,000 test kits to the Pasteur Institute of Tehran, which will be dispatched to hospitals in outbreak hot spots across the country. Together, we can #FlattenTheCurve.

The central market in Zamzam and hundreds of makeshift homes have been completely decimated. We understand that this was a targeted attack on all health infrastructure in the region to prevent access to healthcare for internally displaced people.

We are horrified that our clinic, the only remaining access to health care in Zamzam camp, was also part of this attack - along with other health facilities in El Fasher.
