Early this morning, the Reno Fire Department sent two brush trucks to Southern California with eight personnel to assist on all the fires.

- Thank you to the men and women of RFD who have been assisting @TMFPD and @HumboldtToiyabe in tirelessly fighting the #DavisFire! Here are some stats as of Monday morning from the frontline: -8 RFD fire apparatus total on scene -32 firefighters working 24/7 since 3pm Saturday
- Amazing find and rescue of a missing women. A friend of the son found her injured and stranded on a steep slope near Alum Creek. RFD personnel helped stabilize the patient, built a rescue system and transported her back to pavement in about a 1/2 hour from contact. Strong work!
- 8:30pm UPDATE for #DavisFire: ⚠️I-580 remains closed in both directions from Damonte Ranch Pkwy in south Reno to College Pkwy in north Carson. Follow NVroads.com for more info ⚠️Continue to monitor perimetermap.com for up-to-date info on evacuations and road

- We all need a helping hand sometimes, even kitty. Reno Firefighters on Engine 4 got the opportunity to help this "big cat" return home after spending 24 hours in this tree. Great work 🐱
- ****UPDATE**** After quick work from RFD personnel using our new electric hydraulic tools, we are happy to announce that Bella is free and on her way to a local Vet for an evaluation. Great work by E11 and Truck 1
- One of our FF/Medics with all of his gear leaving for Fairbanks, Alaska to serve as a Fireline Paramedic on the Boundary River Fire. Over 250 lbs. of ALS gear, supplies and wildland PPE. Luckily @AlaskaAir waived the extra baggage fees.
- A NDF Firefighter saved a fawn from the Garson Fire. Now in the care of NV Division of Wildlife @NevadaForestry
