- A quick shout out to Firefighter Jessica Clearman! After a structure fire today, a local family had trouble receiving aid from the Red Cross due to a language barrier. FF Clearman was able to translate for the family to get them the care they needed. Way to go! 👩🚒
- Ladder 311 is providing water from under I-405 and containing the trailer fire.

- After 36 years of dedicated service to the Renton community, we bid farewell to Fire Chief Rick Marshall, who officially retired on October 31, 2020. We are honored and grateful for everything he contributed to our organization through the years. #firefamily #rentonstrong
- Smoke from Eastern WA moving into King County causing heavy smoke haze and strong odor of burning wood. This has caused numerous reports to our 911 center. Please call 911 if you see smoke or fire conditions that you think are not related to the Eastern Washington smoke issue.
- A special congratulations to one of our newest probationary firefighters, Danielle Bue, for earning the Valedictorian Award for Best Academic Performance during SKCFTC Fire Academy Class 15. Way to go, Danielle! 🎉
- Yesterday, Engine E313 was first on the scene of a plane crash incident. While rare, so was the composition of the crew, comprised entirely of female firefighters! Discover more about this incident at: bit.ly/3rQA94m. Great work Lt. Weaver, FF Wallace, and FF Clearman!
- Fire Station 15 is officially in service! Despite a little Washington rain today, crews were energized and ready to serve the Kennydale community. We could not be more excited to call Kennydale home! #community #rentonproud
00:00 - Tis the season! ❄️ Congratulations to our members who volunteered their personal time to raise funds for the local Salvation Army this season. They helped raise $1,217 in a single day! This is truly our favorite time of year. #rentonstrong
- Renton Fire and Police would like to remind the public that fireworks are illegal in the city limits. The city ban has been in effect since 2005. Help keep our neighborhoods safe. While fireworks are banned in city, they are not in certain areas of unincorporated King County.
