- Gun violence has no place in our schools, homes, and communities. June is #GunViolenceAwarenessMonth, and I stood with colleagues to recognize the heartbreaking toll gun violence takes and to recommit to doing all we can to prevent gun violence.
- Budget cuts, gun violence, immigration enforcement, and mental health are real issues facing kids in schools, yet this committee wants to spend its time threatening schools, teachers, and children. Enough is enough.

- The House just passed landmark workers’ rights legislation! 🎉 I'm grateful we were able to force a vote to cut through the bureaucracy and speed up the process to get a first contract without delay once a union is formed. This is a big win for workers across America.
- Too many Oregonians can't afford food, health care, child care, or gas. Instead of helping address this affordability crisis, MAGA Republicans voted to give $70 billion more to ICE and CBP without any oversight. It's unconscionable that Republicans once again turned their backs
