- Good news. Our bill to stop the massive fraud seen at California Community Colleges just passed the House with strong bipartisan support. California allowed millions in financial aid from 1.2 million “ghost” students, a third of all applicants.

- I'm not the only one critical of California's absurdly slow vote count. A Washington Post editorial calls it a "national embarrassment." The NY Times compared it to the "pre-telegraph era." It's another example of our government struggling to perform basic functions.
